History

Legion is a North American guild created by a group of friends back in the late 1990’s which went under the name Brotherhood of the Crimson Knights [BCK], one of the oldest and respected guilds in Ulitima Online. In 2002 the Guild’s leadership realigned our guild model to be more PvP orientated. With this we changed our Leadership and member structure as well as the guild’s name.

Although our members previously played Ultima Online, Everquest, Anarchy Online, and Dark Age of Camelot together, we did not fully establish ourselves under our new name until the release of an obscure yet very enjoyable game called Neocron. Legion was a forced to be reckoned with when we arrived. Within a few months we were the dominate Guild on Saturn. After months of slaughtering Neocron’s patrons Legion’s and the allure of Neocron fading, Legion’s leadership prepared the organization for the release of Shadowbane.

Many of our members played Shadowbane during the beta and we quickly established ourselves with the one of the most dominant forces on the server Scorn. After careful deliberations with representatives from the Rolling 30’s, Legion was invited into an alliance comprised of the most vicious PvP Guilds in history including: Nurfed, The Mercs, The Regulators, Covetous Crew, Sinister, Disciples of the Dark Hand to name a few. Within several weeks with the combined might of the City of Compton was completed erected and the alliance obliterated any opposition on the server. Unfortunately this victory was short lived. It was later determined that Baka who was the chief builder of Compton and a member of the Sinister was secretly cheating. UBI put a stop to it by banning the builder’s account without transferring the ownership of the buildings to another member of the Sinister. The alliance quickly crumbled and along with the city after this occurred. Legion quickly established its own city and for a few months battled various Guilds.

Legion reemerged during the beta of World of Warcraft although we had a small contingent of members playing Guild Wars while we were awaiting the final release of WoW. We allied ourselves with Lords of the Dead during the initial release to ensure rapid progression of both organizations. Several of Legion’s members were the first to hit level 60. Within a few months Legion’s members had conquered all of the initial content and were participating in organized squads inside the battlegrounds. With the release of Molten Core, Legion and LotD organized various Dungeons raids until the ultimate defeat of Ragnaros. With the growing server population problems on Archimonde Legion and Lord of the Dead decided severed their alliance. Looking for a change of pace, Legion moved their members to Dethecus.
